Funeral services for Jean will be at the Freedom Christian Church at 2 p.m. Sept. 21 with Reverend Rod Rieger, pastor, First Christian Church Buffalo, officiating. Interment will be in the Freedom Cemetery Freedom, Oklahoma. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements

Funeral services for Lloyd Jerry Beagley, 80, of Alva will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Freedom Christian Church with Rev. Harold McGinnis officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery with arrangements by Wharton Funeral Chapel.

He was was born on February 14, 1923 near Freedom to Jerry Edward and Grace Lillian (Davidson) Beagley. He passed away on March 16, 2003 at Alva Share Medical Center. He graduated from Freedom High School with the Class of 1942. He served in the Army during World War II. He was united in marriage to Geraldene Reasons on August 18, 1946 in Dodge City, Kansas. He was a retired rancher and a member of Freedom Old Cowhand Association. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; his sisters, Laura Alta Bliss, Nola Grace Storer, and Vera Velma Schultz; and his brother, Alfred Lewis Beagley. He is survived by his sons, Donald Rex Beagley of Oklahoma City and Steven Ray Beagley of Enid; his sister, Dixie Dollie Clemence of Waynoka; his brothers, Carl Joe Beagley of Humboldt, Kansas, William John Beagley of Ponca City, and Jim Max Beagley of Custer City; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
