ENID — Funeral service for Wilma Maxine McCulloch will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Capron United Methodist Church with Pastor Clark Struebing officiating. Interment will be in Capron Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home, Alva.

Wilma Maxine McCulloch, daughter of the late Otto Henry and Cecil (Simon) Erdman, was born July 17, 1930, in Woods County, Okla., and passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, in Alva, Okla., at the age of 82 years, 5 months, and 7 days.

Wilma attended school through the fourth grade at Centerview, graduated from Capron High School, then earned a degree in business from Northwestern State College in 1952.

On Sept. 5, 1954, she was united in marriage to Leo Lester McCulloch in Capron. They lived in Topeka, Kan., Los Angeles and Needles, Calif., Winslow, Ariz., and Glendale, Calif., before returning to Capron in 1970.

In 1971, she went to work for Schuessler Insurance until she retired in 2002.

She was a member of Capron United Methodist Church, where she served as treasurer for 25 years and played the piano. She was a member of Petunia Garden Club and the Household Executives.

Wilma is survived by her son, Timothy Neal McCulloch of Wichita, Kan., and other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Capron United Methodist Church or Northwestern Foundation for scholarships.
