Deceased: Kim Dale Young, 37, Denver

Kim Dale Young, 37, son of Dorothy Rose Young and the late Buddy Young, was born June 28, 1966, in Alva and departed this life on Oct. 22, 2003, at his home in Denver, Colo. It was his request to be cremated.

He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Young, and two sisters, Linda Young and Doris Magnuson.

Dale is survived by his mother, Dorothy Young of Alva; three sisters and their husbands, Sherry and Tom Gruber of Oklahoma City, Donna and Lowell Brown of Bella Vista, Ark., and Connie and Richard Moore of Waynoka. He is also survived by his close friend and companion, Eric Overstreet of Denver, Colo.; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.

Graveside memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Alva Municipal Cemetery with Dr. Greg Hook of the First Baptist Church of Alva officiating. Arrangements are under the direction Wentworth Mortuary of Carmen.
