The funeral for Dena Ellen Terbush, 92, of Alva, will be 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church Chapel. The Rev. Terry Martindale will officiate. Burial will be in Alva Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wharton Funeral Chapel, Alva.

She was born July 3, 1913, in Clear Lake to Alma Fanny Salman and Nevin Ward Gra-ham and died Monday, July 4, 2005, at Saint An-thony Hos-pital, Oklahoma City.

She married Thomas Terbush on June 4, 1937, in Kingfisher. He died Jan. 27, 1986. They farmed west of Alva, and in 1941 they moved to Alva. She worked for Alva Central National Bank from 1943 until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of Alva First United Methodist Church, Martha Mary Circle, BPW and Black Wing Veterans of Foreign War Post Auxiliary.

Surviving are her daughter, Marie Corbyn of Oklahoma City; a brother, Nevin "Jack" of Jenks; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
