Alva Cemetery


The vigil service will be held at the Alva Sacred Heart Catholic Church on July 31 at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Alva Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Aug. 1 at 11 a.m. with Father Shane Tharp, Pastor, Celebrant. Interment follows in the Alva Municipal Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Riley was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and four brothers.

She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands; Carolyn and Ralph Wilson of Pampa, Texas, Jodi and Gary Keltner of Wichita, Kan., a son and his wife; Frank and Mary Riley of Salado, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Alva Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She will lay in state at the funeral chapel until 6 p.m. Thursday at which time she will be moved to the Catholic church for her vigil service.
