October 21, 1906 - August 21, 1985

Waynoka – Christie Virginia Reed, 78, died Wednesday, August 21, 1985. Services will be 2 PM Friday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Shaw officiating. Burial will be at the Alva Municipal Cemetery under direction of the Marshall Funeral Home.

Reed was born October 21, 1906 in Farry. On December 12, 1926, she married Ray J. Reed in Alva. They made their home in Alva until 1978 when she moved to a Waynoka nursing home. He preceded her in death in 1984.

She is survived by two sons, Bob Reed, Alva, and Kenneth Reed, Haysville, Kansas; three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Virginia Mae) Fisher, Oregon, Mrs. Bob (Beverly Ann) Yadon, Waynoka, and Mrs. Terry (Bonnie Lee) Forcum, Ponca City; two sisters, Mae Lynch, Denver, Colorado, and Daisy Belle Hayes, Clear Lake Oaks, California; 15 grandchildren and nine great – grandchildren.
