Graveside services for Lilly Aunna McAlpin will be Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Wharton Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made at http://www.whartonfuneralchapel.com.

Lilly Aunna Kaye, daughter of Amanda (Fredrick) and Edward McAlpin, was born May 2, 2018, at OU Children's Hospital with a congenital heart defect. She passed away in her parents arms May 4, 2018. She had blue eyes and ticklish toes and knees. She was a fighter who fought until the very end.

Lilly Aunna was preceded in death by her grandfather David Frederick, her great-grandmother Sandra Mahaffey, and her great-grandmother Marilyn Kaye Tatro.

Lilly Aunna is survived by her parents, Amanda and Edward; a brother, Aaryn; maternal grandmother Norma Mahaffey and paternal grandparents Natalie and Bill Chance, and Jeff and Diane McAlpin; great-grandparents Norman Mahaffey and Sondra and Bill McGrew; and great-great-grandmother Phyllis Fisher, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, Christina Mahaffey and child, Diana and Justin Robinson and three children, Sara and Joseph Decker, and three children, Jon McAlpin, Quentin Ryel, Chayce Schwab and child, Kayleigh McAlpin and Kameron Schwab.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the OU Children's Hospital.
