Alva Cemetery


A graveside service for Wesley Alan Marcus, four month old infant, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Alva Municipal Cemetery, Garden of Angels. John Smith, pastor, will officiate. Arrangements are by Wharton Funeral Chapel of Alva.

He was born Jan. 16, 2007, in Broken Bow, Neb., to Amanda Keener and Travis Marcus and died Thursday, May 24, 2007.

Surviving are his parents, Amanda and Travis Marcus, and one sister, Lillyanna, all of Enid; maternal grandmother, Anna Smith of Ansley, Neb.; maternal grandfather, Tracy Lee of Topeka, Kan.; stepgrandfather, David Welch of Engleside, Texas; paternal grandmother, Teresa Heaton of St. Louis; paternal grandfather, Tracy Marcus of Alva; maternal great-grandmother, Lorna Roach, of Salina; paternal great-grandmother, Gloria Lewis; and paternal great-grandparents, Eugene and Doris Marcus of Alva.
