The funeral for Mary Emma Bell Kriegh, 82, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Bible Baptist Church. The Rev. John Clapp will officiate. Burial will be in Alva Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

She was born June 19, 1926, in Strickler, Ark., to Thomas Jeffeson and Martha Luellen Woods Cantrell and died Friday. June 5, 2009, in Enid.

She attended Waldron schools and graduated from Springdale High School. She attended Enid Bible College. She married Alfred Angelo Kriegh July 21, 1947, in Alva.

She worked as a cook at Beadles Nursing Home, as an aide at Share Convalescent Center and at Triangle Rest-aurant. She attended Alva Bible Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Alva and Cherokee.

Surviving are one son, Alfred Kriegh of Vine Grove, Ky.; three daughters, Mary McDonald of Cherokee, Janet Speaker of Carmen and Ellen Howe of Normal, Ill.; one brother, Carolous Cantrell of Anthony, Kan.; one sister, Velma Miller of Manchester; and 12 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, diabetes research or Alva Bible Baptist Church.
