Alva – Beulah R. Koppitz, 85, died Tuesday morning in a local nursing home. Her funeral will be at 2 PM Thursday in the Wharton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Darrel Hardy, pastor of the Alva First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery.

She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Haraughty of Houston; two sons, Paul Koppitz and Burr Koppitz, both of Alva; seven grandchildren and seven great – grandchildren.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. Koppitz may be made to the Heart Fund, with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
