Deceased: Bonnie Jean Knabe, 72, Alva

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Buck; two sisters, Lucy Whisman and Maxine Pelts; and two brothers, Leo Whisman and Leroy "Spot" Whisman.

Bonnie is survived by three daughters, D' Major of Alva, Lola Bradford and her husband, Boyd, of Waynoka, Oklahoma, Pam Lyon and her husband, Greg; one son, Raymond Knabe of Alva; a daughter adopted in love, Shirley Hewlett; one sister, Karleen Binder of Woodward, Oklahoma; and a sister-in-law and her husband, Dolly and Lynn Louthan of Enid. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Travis Lyon and his wife, Charity, of Alva, M. Scott Major and his wife, Tina, of Okmulgee, Mitchell Lyon of Alva, Kellie Bradford of Waynoka, Nicholas Lyon of Alva, Jodie Bradford of Waynoka, and Dakota Knabe of Cherokee; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Dec. 1 at the Otterbein United Methodist Church with Dr. Greg Hook and Reverend Don Toland officiating.Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Otterbein United Methodist Church or Share Medical Center.
