Frieda Kline, 99, Alva

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Esther Meier, Lenore Weidner and Mary Sturtz; three brothers, John, Jake and Gottfred; and a son-in-law, Dan Blunk.

Frieda is survived by her two daughters, Rose Blunk of Hardtner, Kan., and Alene and her husband, DeWitt Sternberger of Harper, Kan.; two sons and their wives, Ted and Verna of Centralia, Wash., and Harry and Norma of Alva; eleven grandchildren and their spouses, Stanley and Debbie Kline, Darrell and Ann Kline, Kathy and Troy Hampton, DeAnn Kline, Craig and Connie Kline, Jim and Cynthia Blunk, Katie Blunk, Lynetta Kay and Bruce Record, Roger and Judy Sternberger, Candace Sue and Edwin Barker, Valeda Bahl; nine great-grandchildren, Heather, Scott, Jesse and his wife, Mistie, Logan and Stacy, Stephanie and her husband Les, Jason, Jamie, Jessica, Ashley, Jody, Noah, Taylor and Adam; five great great grandchildren; two sisters, Thresa Noble and Lydia Keeman; two sisters-in-law, Marie and Ruth; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at Nov. 27 at the Alva First Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Jan McDaniel, pastor, First United Methodist Church, Caldwell, Kan. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel of Alva is in charge of arrangements.

Contributions in her memory may be donated to the Share Medical Center Auxiliary or the charity or church of the donor's choice.
