Robert Carey Kendrick
June 25, 1921 - December 11, 2012

Graveside services for Robert Kendrick were held at Alva Municipal Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00pm at the Presbyterian Church. Services were under the direction of Smith & Kernke in Oklahoma City.

Robert Carey Kendrick was born in Alva Oklahoma on June 25, 1921 to Van and Gertie Kendrick and died December 11, 2012 in Oklahoma City at the age of 91 years, 5 months, and 16 days.

Bob served in the 45th Infantry Division during WWII and spent 3 years in Africa and Europe. After the war, he completed college and had a career as an Educator, Counselor, and Coach.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lorraine Herd Kendrick of OKC; sons, Randy (Lynda), Rick (Dani), and Ron (fiance Gina Martin); grandchildren, Kris (Adrienne), Kara Anderson (Matt), Dani Mills (daughter Kylee), Lynnsey McFarland (Daniel), Ricky Kendrick Jr.; brothers, Bill (Leslie) and Ken (Nancy); many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
