Deceased: James L. Kelley, 83, Alva

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Weeta, on Jan. 11, 2001; and one son, Bob Kelley, on Oct. 27, 1981.

Jim is survived by two sons, Jimmy Kelley and his wife, Susan, of Hartford, Conn., and Richard Kelley and his wife, Debbie, of Midland, Texas; one sister, Jean Marlar of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Frank Deaton and Mrs. Lee Haley, both of Alva; seven grandchildren, Tony, Diedre, Shawn, Kyle, Jake, Michael, and Jennifer Kelley; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Aug. 11 at the Alva Municipal Cemetery with Hartsell Johnson and Jay Tyree, of the College Hill Church of Christ, officiating. Interment is under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the College Hill Church of Christ Bible Chair.

Deceased: Weeta May Kelley, 81, Alva

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Bob Kelley, on Oct.27, 1981; and two brothers, Leo and Ira Shoemake.

Weeta is survived by her husband, Jim, of Alva; two sons, Jimmy Kelley and his wife, Susan, of Hartford, Conn., and Richard Kelley and his wife, Debbie, of Midland, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Deaton of Alva, and Mrs. Lee Haley of Alva; seven grandchildren, Tony, Diedre, Shawn, Kyle, Jake, Michael, and Jennifer Kelley; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Jan. 13 at College Hill Church of Christ with Hartsell Johnson and Jay Tyree officiating. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
