March 2, 1956 - July 5, 2020

Graveside services will be held at the Alva Municipal Cemetery on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Donnetta Hunter, pastor, Assembly of God Church, officiating. Online condolences may be made at http://www.whartonfuneralchapel.com.

Carol Ann (Stewart) Johnson, daughter of Fred and Lorene Stewart, was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, on March 2, 1956. She passed away July 5, 2020, at the age of 64 years.

She married David Pierce on June 26, 1975, at the Alva Assembly of God Church. The couple was blessed with two sons, Jason and Joe Pierce.

Carol worked for several nursing homes around the Alva area as a CNA. She then moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma, where she met and married Larry Joe Johnson on June 13, 1997.

She loved line dancing, fishing, spending time outdoors with her dogs, taking her dogs for car rides, collecting western and farm themed scenes and spending time with horses.

She also liked helping her neighbors and spending time with her grandson, Tyler, at the pond.

Carol is now rejoicing in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
