Alva Cemetery


El Reno – The Memorial service for Sibyl T. Hall, 99, will be 10 AM Saturday at Wharton Funeral Chapel. The Rev. David Laverty will officiate. Burial will be in Alva Municipal Cemetery.

She was born October 18, 1899, in El Reno and died Saturday, June 6, 1999.

She graduated from the University of Oklahoma and continued her studies to receive her Masters Degree in physics in 1927. She married Dr. John A. Hall in April 1928. Following their marriage they lived in Alva and in 1969 they went to Sun City, Arizona, to make their home. She was an active member of Alva First Presbyterian Church, PTA and PEO.

Surviving are two sons, Bud of Genesee, Idaho and John of Henderson, Nevada; two grandchildren; and two great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers.
