Memorial service for Micheal Lee Dobbs will be May 21, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Alva Municipal Cemetery gazebo with Reverend Sarah Brack officiating.

Micheal Lee, son of Roger Shaull Dobbs and Margaret (Cashwell Dobbs) Province was born on April 11, 1968, in Madison, Wisconsin. He passed away April 29, 2016, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 48 years. In 1971, at the age of 3, his family moved to Alva, Oklahoma, where he attended the Alva public school system. Following school he worked many different jobs and helped his family with masonry work.

Mike was always on the go and very seldom ever slowed down. He always had a smile on his face, a twinkle in his eye and loved to make everyone laugh with his quick wit and cleverness. He was always humble, easy to talk to and open minded. Some of Mike's favorite things to do were shooting guns and fishing with his dad. He loved spending time with family, working on motorcycles, camping and listening to rock and roll.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Roger on July 20, 2009, and his mother Margaret on June 23, 2011.

He is survived by his wife Doris (Wiltshire) Dobbs of Tamms, Illionois; a daughter Tori Rodgers of Alva, a son Caleb Collins and wife Nicole of Dodge City, Kansas, four grandchildren: Cali, Brittlyn, Degan and Axsten; his sister, Monica Dennison and husband Lenny of Ponca City; his brother, Steve and wife Jolisa of Dallas, Texas; a stepson and stepdaughter; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
