Alva Cemetery


William Eaton "Bill" Brunsteter, son of Earl and Olga, was born on August 7, 1925 in Alva, Oklahoma. He passed away on February 11, 2006 at the age of eighty years and six months.

He is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Phyllis of Alva; his daughter Jane and her husband Ken Hood, their sons, Bryant and his wife Savanah, and Brett all of Dallas, Texas; his son Grant and his wife Paula, their children, Nicholas and Katie, all of Flower Mound , Texas; his brother Dick and wife Fran of Alva, and their children, Elizabeth and Steve Parkhurst also of Alva, Leslie and Roger Williams of Kansas City, Kansas, Dub and Betsy of Oklahoma City, Leigh Ann and Roger Gaddis of Ada, Oklahoma, and Kelly and Nino Misuraca of Edmond, Oklahoma; a sister, Mary Beth and her husband Ike Glass of Newkirk, Oklahoma, and their children, Rob and Laurie Glass of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Jennifer and Rocky Johnson of Washington, D.C.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 14 at the First Presbyterian Church in Alva with Rev. Judye Pistole, pastor, officiating. Private interment will be at the Alva Municipal Cemetery . Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Viewing at the funeral home will be until noon on Tuesday.
