Alva Cemetery


A Memorial Service for Dean Berry was held Tuesday April 30, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Wharton Funeral Chapel Dean Edward Berry son of Anna Mae (Ackerson) and Dillard E. Berry, was born May 29, 1954 in Woodward, Oklahoma. He passed away on the 25th day of Aril, 2013 at the age of 58 years, 10 months and 27 days.

He attended the Alva Public School System and graduated with the class of 1973.

On October 5, 1979 he was married to Cynthia L. Cox. To their marriage a son, James Dean Berry was born.

Dean made his home in Alva where he worked for Chartwell’s at Northwestern State University. In his spare time he enjoyed working on and riding motorcyles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dean is survived by his son, James and his wife, Latoya; two grandchildren, Xzavier and Xandrienne; other relatives and friends.
