DIMMITT - Retta M. Cluck, 95, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Rhodes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Foskey-Lilley McGill Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cluck was born July 24, 1906, in Sentinel, Okla., where she grew up and attended schools. She married Roy Cluck on Dec. 23, 1923, in Sentinel. She and her husband moved to Castro County in 1928. She was active in First Baptist Church where she was a member. She was a past member of Plains Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death her husband on Sept. 21, 1970; a son, Jimmy Cluck; and a son-in-law, Rodney Smith.
Survivors include two sons, R.J. Cluck of Clayton, N.M., and Jerry Cluck and wife, Carol Ann, of Van Buren, Ark.; two daughters, Joy Smith of Happy and Billie Cluck of Dimmitt; a daughter-in-law, Mary Cluck of Dimmitt; a brother, Loyd Farris of Hart; a sister, Jewel Scott of Dimmitt; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church, 1201 Western Circle Drive, Dimmitt, TX 79027; Castro County Senior Citizens, P.O. Box 156, Dimmitt, TX 79027; or Westlawn Memorial Park in Dimmitt.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
