Margaret Ann Tarr, age 74 and resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, in The Journey Home facility.

Margaret Ann Cardenas was born on November 29, 1941 in Bartlesville. She was the daughter of Jose Cardenas and Gertrude (Gamino) Cardenas. She grew up in Bartlesville where she received her education. She furthered her education by attending and graduating from Bartlesville Beauty College.

Margaret and Levi Tarr were united in marriage in Bartlesville in 1966. They moved to Lawrence, Kansas so that Levi could finish college. They made their home in Richardson, Texas. Margaret worked as a Cosmetologist and a Sales Associate. In 2012 Margaret retired and returned to Bartlesville to be near her sisters.
Margaret was a devout member of St. John Before The Latin Gate Church in Bartlesville, and she loved to spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Gertrude Cardenas; brother, Alfred Cardenas; and sister, Dolores Holsten.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph L. Tarr and his wife, Amy, of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Christopher M. Tarr of Singapore; three sisters Alice Tennison, Mary Stewart and Nancy Love, all of Bartlesville; and two grandchildren, Emily and Evan Tarr.

A Rosary will be held on Friday from 5:00-6:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home chapel, 710 S. Dewey Ave. Deacon Joe Richard will lead the Rosary.
A Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. John Before the Latin Gate Catholic Church, 715 S. Johnstone Ave., in Bartlesville. Father Michael Pratt will be the Celebrant.

Interment will follow at the White Rose Cemetery.
