Levi Casey, 72, of Henryetta, died Saturday at his home.

Services were 10 a.m. today at the Robert Simons Funeral Home in Henryetta with the Rev. Chris Brown officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m. today at Ramona Cemetery under the direction of Robert Simons Funeral Home.

Casey was born Sept. 2, 1926 at Henryetta to Levi and Lucille (Smith) Casey. He married Wynona Lay on May 2, 1951 in VanBuren, Ark. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW post No. 539. He worked for Eagle Pitcher for 22 years and moved to Ochelata to work for National Zinc in Bartlesville, where he worked for 17 years.

Survivors include his wife, Wynona, of the home; his mother, Lucille Dean, of Strang; a son, Alan, of Childers; a daughter, Linda Sowinski, of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Mary Louise Hollingsworth, of Strang; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Levi; a son, Larry; and a sister, Elaine Moses
