Eugenia Carol Tucker-Merkey (1963 - 2015)
Eugenia Carol Tucker-Merkey, age 52, of Oglesby, OK passed away Thursday morning October 8, 2015 at her home in Oglesby, OK.
Eugenia was born June 3, 1963 in Independence, KS to Gerald and Bonnie Tucker. Eugenia grew up in the Independence area and attended the Bible Holiness School.
Eugenia had three children Matthew, Sarah and Paul. Eugenia was a self-employed caregiver and loved by her employers. She married Robert Merkey of Dewey, OK on December 5, 1998 and also gained another son Robert Shane Merkey. Eugenia and Robert made their home in Ochelata, OK for 17 years before relocating to Oglesby, OK. Eugenia was a member of the Wesleyan Holiness Alliance church in Oglesby. She was a great, strong and wonderful wife, mother, mimi (grandmother) and loved by all.
Eugenia is survived by her husband Robert Merkey of Oglesby, OK; three sons and one daughter, Robert Shane and Amanda Merkey of Skiatook, OK, Matthew Sanders and Rebecca Hagan of Owasso, OK, Sarah and Harvey Peņa of Owasso, Ok, Paul and Devin Sanders of Bartlesville, OK; Mother, Bonnie Tucker of Independence, KS; Siblings Joy and Ron Wilson of Garnett, KS, Bradley and Connie Tucker of Liberty, KS, Susan and Robert Hobbs of Liberty, KS; grandchildren Robert Alan, Michael Paul, Nickie, Lukis, Aubri and Bowe Merkey of Skiatook, OK; Taliyah Peņa of Owasso, OK, Kiara Sanders of Bartlesville, OK.
Eugenia was preceded in death by her father Gerald E Tucker.
Family night will be Wednesday October 14, 2015 at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, OK from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral service for Eugenia Carol Merkey will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday October 15, 2015 at Bible Holiness Church, 201 West St in Ochelata, OK. Officiating the service will be Rev. Charlie Cunningham and Rev. Tommy Wade. Pianist will be Donna Lynn Robinson. Graveside will be at Oglesby Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Wesleyan Holiness Alliance at 402231 W. 2100 Road Bartlesville, OK. 74006.
Flowers and condolences may be offered at the Stumpff Funeral Home at 1600 S.E. Washington Blvd. Bartlesville. Friends who wish may sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.stumpff.org
