Bobby Gene Harris (Bob) passed away on November 18, 2021, in Bartlesville, OK at the age of 86.

Bob was born on June 21, 1935, to Dim H. Harris and Cora Lee Rhodes in Miami, Texas.
On May 11, 1957, Bob married the love of his life, Carolyn Harris. He worked at Phillips 66 as a Senior Accountant, and later retired from there. Bob enjoyed fishing and being with his cats.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Dim Harris; his mother, Cora Harris; wife, Mary Harris; daughter in law, Teresa Harris; son in law Don Thompson.

Bob is survived by his son, Kerry Harris of Oklahoma; daughter, Tammy Thompson of North Carolina; grandson, Chance Thompson and wife Mary, great-grandsons Austin Thompson and Dylan Thompson of North Carolina; granddaughters, Brandy Thompson of Illinois, and Brittany Thompson of North Carolina.

Mrs. Carolyn Harris, 70, of Bartlesville, went to her heavenly home at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Jane Phillips Medical Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harris will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Rummage officiating.

Interment will be in the Oglesby Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Casket escorts will include Bernard Young, Bob Inlow, Kenneth Hill, Dexter Sutterfield, Jack Fleharty and Chris Wittner.

A memorial has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to Jane Phillips Cancer Center, 3470 S.E. Frank Phillips Blvd., Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006.

Mrs. Harris was born at Canyon, Texas on August 30, 1939 the daughter of Curtis Wilburn Davis and Mildred Elizabeth (Hancock) Davis. She grew up in Canyon, Texas where she attended the First Baptist Church and graduated from high school.
She was married to Bobby Gene Harris on May 11, 1957 at Canyon, Texas. Following his military services, he was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company in Borger, Texas and they made their homes at Phillips, Texas and Borger.
They moved to Bartlesville to make their home in 1971 and Mrs. Harris was the longtime manager of Sherman's Hallmark Store in downtown Bartlesville from 1974 until 1990. She then became employed with Thomas Jewelry and then Mastercraft Jewelry. For the past five years she has been employed as a cook with the Bartlesville school's system. She was a charter member of the Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church and she loved camping, cooking and crafts.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, Bobby Gene Harris of the home, one daughter, Tammy Thompson and her husband Donnie of Spring Lake, North Carolina, one son, Kerry Harris and his wife Teresa of Bartlesville, three sisters, Peggy Tucker of Canyon, Texas, Marilyn Mathews and her husband Bob of Arkansas City, Kansas and Sandra Hord of Canyon, Texas, and three grandchildren, Chance Thompson, Brandy Thompson and Brittany Thompson.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents.
