Willis Leo Buoy

Willis Buoy passed away at 9:33 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 in the Walker-Brown Chapel with Reverend Bill Spencer officiating. Interment will be in the Ochelata Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Willis Leo Buoy was born November 14, 1929 in Oglesby, OK to Willis Leo and Devona (Mock) Buoy Sr. Willis graduated from Ochelata High School. He retired in 1990 from American Airlines as a machinist with over 25 years of dedicated service. Willis loved to fish and treasured the companionship of his two cats, Mutt & Tiger. He enjoyed landscaping and playing tricks on his co-workers.
Willis is survived by his two daughters; Lois Bauders of Collinsville, Cheryle and husband Scott McManus of Oologah. One son, Bobby Buoy and wife Sherry of Collinsville. He was blessed with six grandchildren; Terry Bauders, Brandi Buoy-Brassfield, Shauna Buoy, Shawn Buoy & wife Salena, Nikki and husband Jonathan Bunch and Kori McManus. Seven great-grandchildren; Myles Masquat, Tymber Masquat, Sadie Payne, Araya Buoy, Misty Gomez, Olivia Buoy, Gracie Buoy and two nephews, Pat & Mike Buoy.
Willis was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Bauders, parents; Willis and Devona Buoy, grandson, Allen Bauders, two brothers, Travis and Sherwell Buoy and niece, Sharla Buoy-Austin.
