Orville Lee Aldridge, age 81, passed from this life on January 31, 2018 in Bartlesville, OK. Orville was born July 22, 1936 to Orville Madison Aldridge and Elizabeth Grace Aldridge.

He received his education in the Barnsdall School System graduating in 1956. He attended Tri-County Tech in Bartlesville Oklahoma in the early 70’s and received his certification as a code welder.

Orville has held numerous jobs including at Bareco in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, Riverside in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Lone Star Machine in Denver City, Texas, and H&M also of Denver City, Texas. For a long period of time he owned Aldridge & Sons Welding. He ended his career after working for C-Cam in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and then for Dewey Iron Works in Dewey, Oklahoma.

Orville married Norma Alene (Susie) Aldridge in 1956. Orville and Susie were married for 62 years and successfully raised six children. Orville was a kind and caring person and his family was his top priority throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Alene (Susie) Aldridge, son, Orville Frank Aldridge, daughter, Alene Denise Hagan, daughter, Lori Michelle Jones, son, Loren Evan Aldridge, daughter, Leanna Sue Aldridge, and daughter, Jennifer Nicole Trimmer. He leaves seven grandchildren, Charles Mark Aldridge, John David Hagan, Leanna Alene Aldridge, Jared Lee Hagan, Madison Grace Aldridge, Nathanael Paul Trimmer and Sophia Nicole Trimmer. He also leaves two great grandchildren, Logan Alan Aldridge and Landon Mark Aldridge. Orville leaves behind many in-laws as well as nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville Madison Aldridge and Grace Elizabeth Aldridge, brother, Lee Roy Frank Aldridge, sisters, Zedna Faye Lookout and Irene Friend Hunnicutt, grandson, Jacob Madison Hagan and son-in-law, David Eugene Hagan.

Final arrangements are being handled by Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville Oklahoma. A memorial service for Orville will be announced later.

Interment will be at the Ochelata Oklahoma Cemetery.
