Patrick "Pat" Turowski, age 45 and former resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on November 6, 2015 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Patrick Donn Turowski was born July 28, 1970 to Larry Turowski and Denise (Albin) Turowski in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He attended school from second grade to graduation in 1988 at Chetopa, Kansas. During his high school years, Pat was active in band as a trumpeter, numerous school plays, 4-H and FFA. He was on the school livestock judging team, winning county, state, national and international honors.
Pat attended Butler County Community College on a full scholarship in livestock judging. He transferred his junior year to the University of Kansas where he graduated in 1992 with a degree in Business Administration. Afterwards, he was accepted into the Oklahoma City University Law School finishing his studies and was hooded with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1995. He passed the Oklahoma Bar Exam at age 24.
At the time of his death he was working for Humphrey, Wallace, Humphrey Law Firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He previously managed Walden Books in Bartlesville and Book a Million in Tulsa.
Patrick was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, John Turowski and Lavern Albin; and a grandmother, Margaret.
He is survived by his parents, Larry Turowski and Denise (Albin) Turowski; a brother, Daniel and his wife, Stacey; another brother, Kevin and his fiancée, Stephanie; his grandmother, Ellen Turowski; and one nephew, Lucas Turowski.
Come and go visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00-5:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave.
Services will be held on Friday, November 13, at 10:00 AM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Scott Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
