Gilbert V. Muņoz, formerly of Bartlesville, passed away at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, June 27, 2016.

Gilbert was born on July 9, 1953 at Memorial Hospital here in Bartlesville. After graduating from College High School in 1971, Gilbert enlisted for military service and served in the US Air Force for 20 years. After retiring from the US Air Force, he began working for the US Postal Service and continued his employment there until his passing.

Gilbert is survived by his two sons, Erik Muņoz of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kristopher Muņoz of Salt Lake City, Utah, his mother, Elva Muņoz of Bartlesville, as well as numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, John G. Muņoz in November of 1998.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Saturday the 13th of August at Memorial Park Cemetery at 9:00 A.M.
