Funeral services were conducted for Edith G. Martin, 63, at 2 p.m. Friday in the Colonial Chapel of the Neekamp Funeral Home.
Officiants for the service were Rev. Jess Trammell of the Bartlesville Tabernacle assisted by Rev. Everett Peace of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Dewey.
Casket Escorts for the service were Michael Brookshire, Jerry Brookshire, Tommy Brookshire, Billy Don Brookshire, Jerry Brookshire, Tommy Brookshire, Tim Martin and John Johnson.
Final committal rites were accorded Mrs. Martin in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Neekamp Funeral Home.
Mrs. Martin died Wednesday morning, Nov. 7, in Hillcrest Medical center in Tulsa following an extended illness.
Surviving Mrs. Martin are her husband, Mr. Lowell Martin of 452 N.E. Elmhurst; three sons: Don Brookshire, Collinsville; Richare Lee Martin and Fred W. Martin of Bartlesville; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Wanda) Haywood, Bartlesville; three sisters; Mrs Mary Allen, Little Rock, Ark.; Mrs. Ethel Ballard, Bartlesville; and Mrs. Lela Norton, Jay, Okla.; one brother, George L. Shoup, Whitney, Texas and seven grandsons.
