Carole Lee Kountoupis passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Bartlesville, OK.

Carole was born Sept. 25, 1934, to Oliver Guy and Mabel Pearl (Clark) Schubert in Vinita, OK. At a young age, her family moved to Tulsa where she was a student at Union Public Schools. She graduated with the Class of '52 before going on to the University of Tulsa and earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Soon after, Carole met the love of her life Tony George Kountoupis and they were married on Dec. 23, 1959. They enjoyed 10 years of marriage and two children together before Tony preceded her in death on May 25, 1970. During her life, Carole worked as a secretary for attorney Denny Garrison, Bartlesville Wesleyan College and Foster Petroleum. She worshipped first at the Church of Christ and later at First Wesleyan Church. She loved shopping, traveling, and her very pampered Shih Tzu, Daisy. Most of all, Carole loved the Lord, her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her daughter Julie Heath and her husband John of Edmond, OK; her son Tony Kountoupis and his wife Marla of Bartlesville, OK; six grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth Wright and her husband Jeremy of Okla. City, Tony Collin Kountoupis and Kali Nicole Kountoupis, both of Stillwater, OK, Blake McPhail of Tulsa, Madison McPhail of Stillwater, and Parker McPhail of Bartlesville, as well as one great grandchild Jaiden Wright of Edmond.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the  Foundation 1355 Peachtree ST NE, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309.

Graveside services were held at Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home - Walker Brown Chapel.
