Joan Frances Keen, 76, of Bartlesville, passed away on July 24, 2017.

Joan was born on May 30, 1941 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Commadore and Elsie Mildred (Mardis) Moody. She was raised and went to school in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Joan worked as an inspector at Reda Pump and as a cafeteria supervisor and bus driver for handicapped children for the Dewey schools. Joan married Charles Keen, Sr. on October 27, 1955 in Bartlesville. Because Charles served in the military, the couple lived in many places such as Hawaii, Virginia, and twice in Germany before finally settling back in their hometown of Bartlesville.
Joan was a beloved member of her large family. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sisters Carol Packard, Lois Moore, & Patty Ann Holt; brother Jim Moody, daughter Donna Wahnee, son Charles Keen, Jr., grandchildren Samantha Basurto, Jason Everly, Ryan Currin, Kristen Burks, Adrianne Ryland, Lori McClimans, & Lisa Adams; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four of her brothers and five sisters and her parents Commadore and Elsie.

Joan’s services will be held on Friday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

The family will be receiving visitors at the Stumpff Funeral Home Thursday, July 27 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
