"Andy" Ralph Andrew Johnson, 75, of Dewey, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023.

Andy was born January 15, 1948, in Tulsa to Ralph "Bill" Willard Johnson and Janet L. (Murphy) Johnson. He graduated from Dewey High School in 1966. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Germany. He attended college at Miami, OK, and then later at University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, earning his bachelor's degree in Agriculture.

Andy married Cheyrl Coleman on August 27, 2015, in Branson, Missouri.

Andy worked at Phillips for more than 20 years and later became a truck driver, mostly transporting cattle and hay. He liked his cows.

He was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. Andy was an ornery jokester and was one of a kind. The most important thing in the whole world to Andy was his family. He was loved and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his loving wife, Cheyrl; five children, Dan Johnson and his wife Cassie, Daniel Shaffer and his wife Sami, Michelle Porter and her husband John, Tabitha Sanders, and TJ Sanders; one sister, Kathryn Lynch; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Andy was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Patricia Carol Johnson, and Barbara Jean Steinman; and one grandson, Daniel Shaffer IV.

Andy's family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel, 113 S. Osage Ave. (Hwy 75), Dewey, OK 74029, 918-534-3030. Visitation will also be held from 10-8 Thursday.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville with Pastor Orville Moody officiating.
