William (Bill) G. Harmon, age 54 of Bartlesville, OK died Friday, October 22, peacefully at his home with family and friends surrounding him. Bill fought a courageous battle against three types of cancer.
 
Services for Bill will be Tuesday, 10:00 A.M. at Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Rummage officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Military honors accorded by the American Legion Post 105 under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
 
Memorials may be made to the Bill Harmon Memorial Fund c/o Terri Miller, 66 Federal Credit Union, 501 S. Johnstone, Bartlesville, OK 74003.
 
Bill was born September 19, 1956 in Portland Maine. He grew up and received his education in Portland. After graduating from high school, Bill enlisted in the US Army where he served in Germany and Kentucky. While serving he met his wife Molly Jo Misemer. They were married on March 22, 1979 in Copenhagen, Denmark. After being honorably discharged, they settled in Bartlesville to raise their family. Bill worked for the Washington County District 2 Road Department for 28 years and Walmart Stores Inc for 3 Years. Bill was an active member of Bartlesville Southern Baptist church for 17 years serving with his "Soundbooth" buddies. He will be remembered for his generosity & kindness always wanting to help anyone in need. He had a great sense of humor that would make anyone and everyone laugh by telling stories about his life. Bill enjoyed attending Nascar Races with his friends and fishing with his wife.
 
Bill is survived by his wife Molly Jo, daughters, Laurie Jean and Katie Marie and their friends Michael Martinez and Brandon Capps, grandson Christopher Scott; father, William H. Harmon; sister, Cheryl Kuntz and her husband Jack; brothers Michael and Jesse Harmon, niece Casey. Mother-in-law, Mary Misemer, sister-in-law, Martha and husband Preston Witzel, brother-in-law Marvin. Niece, Sarah Smith and nephew, Jackie Deason and his wife Michelle, and many very special friends.
 
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Harmon and his son, Christopher William Harmon.
