Martha Ann (Payton) Engleking, 81, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 18, 2022. She was beloved by family and close friend. She joins her mother, Father, Husband Albert Engleking, Sister Anna (Payton) Whitlock, Grandson Clayton Jennings and Granddaughter Brandy (Jennings) Fulton.

She was born the daughter of James Chester Payton and Eliza Martha (Crossman) Payton on February 22, 1941, in Bartlesville, Ok. She was the eldest of four children. She was a hard worker who made sure her family who provided for her family. She worked hard to ensure they had the best future possible.

In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, painting and watching her grandchildren perform in extracurricular activities. She loved to travel when she was able to go places. She will be remembered for her strong will, feisty attitude and above all how much she loved supporting her family.

She is survived by her daughters Lisa Engleking and Steve, Ann (Engleking) Lambert and Jack Lambert, and Pamela (Engleking) Lykins and John Lykins. Her siblings J.R. and Margie Payton and Laura and Gordon Higbee. Along with her grandchildren Cody McClain, Anya Moore, Ashley (Jennings) Akers, Trudy Jennings and Rachel Lykins. Along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father James Chester Payton, Mother Eliza Martha (Crossman) Payton, Husband Albert Engleking, Grandson Clayton Jennings Granddaughter Brandy (Jennings) Fulton and her sister Anna (Payton) Whitlock.

Martha requested there will be no formal funeral or memorial service for her. We will respect her wishes but ask that you celebrate her life by enjoying the little things in life. She will be missed but she is now free.
