Bartlesville - Anita Ann Coast passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 86. She was born on August 14, 1935, in Bunker Hill, Kansas to Edward Claire Willson and Alice Rowena Graham Willson.
 

She attended grammar school in Bunker Hill, Kansas. She graduated from Tulsa Central Hugh School in 1953.

She met Gerald Lee Coast at the Friends Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They married in 1953 while Gerald was on military leave and moved to Rapid City, South Dakota. It was here that they started their family with their first child Steven Lee Coast. After Gerald was discharged from the Army, they moved to Bartlesville, OK. It was here that Gerald began building homes and they added to their family with James Alan, Larry Dean and Lisa Diane Coast.

Anita and Gerald were faithful members of the Bartlesville 1st Church of the Nazarene for 65 years. Anita worked for the Frank Phillips Foundation at Woolaroc in the hospitality department until her retirement. She served on the board of the Salvation Army Auxiliary for 25+ years and cared deeply about this charity.


She is survived by her brother Kenneth Willson and sister-in-law Teri (Teapot) Willson of Granbury, Texas, sister Mary Atkisson and brother-in-law Paul Atkisson of Nowata, Oklahoma, her sons Steven Coast of Bartlesville, OK and Larry Coast and wife Marian of Olathe, Kansas, daughter Lisa McCurley, and husband Pat of Oceanside, California, daughter-in-law Donna Coast of Bartlesville, 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Those preceding her in death were her father, mother, brothers Richard, Darrell and Terry Willson, son Jimmy, Grandson Duane and husband Gerald Coast.
 

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations in her name to the Salvation Army Auxiliary, 101 N. Busy, Bartlesville, OK 74003.
 

Visitation for Mrs. Coast will be at Stumpff Funeral Home on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Bartlesville 1st Church of the Nazarene, 3650 SE Adams Blvd., Bartlesville, with Rene Colaw officiating.

Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by Stumpff Funeral Home.
