Melvin "Bud" Clayborn Jr. passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 in the Walker-Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doyle Brummett officiating.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

Melvin William Clayborn Jr. was born November 13, 1934 in Paris, AR to Melvin William Clayborn Sr. and Lucy Rainey. He married Martha "Jane" Tilson on January 13, 1956 in Wichita, KS and were married for over 48 years. Bud spent his entire career working as a welder and in later years worked at Green Country Village Retirement Community transporting senior citizens to appointments. Bud enjoyed car racing, coaching baseball, two step dancing, country western music and building playground equipment.

Bud is survived by his son, Steve Clayborn and wife Dixie of Bartlesville and four daughters; Pamela and husband Randy Pullins Sr. of Bartlesville, Kathy and husband Colin Hardt of Bartlesville, Shelley and husband Gary Hadden of Hardeeville, SC, Sarah and husband John Harsh of Bartlesville. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren, Jessica Hargrove, Jonathan Clayborn, Christopher Clayborn, Gregory Clayborn, Carey Jo Warner, Olivia Goodwin, Cory Pullins, Randy Pullins Jr., Matthew Brown, Chris Brown, Carl Hadden, Austin Hadden, and Brett Harsh, 11 great grandchildren, numerous relatives and many friends.

Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Clayborn, brother, Marlow Clayborn and his parents.
