John Paul Burkett passed away on January 5, 2022 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 57.

John was born to Arthur Jackson “Jack” Burkett and Pamela Mary Paul on May 28, 1964 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. John graduated from College High in 1982 and spent his career working in the grocery store industry, serving in many different positions through the years from checker, stocker, to management. He was a long term employee of Homeland Grocery in Bartlesville, way back when it was called Safeway. He spent his early years in the marching/concert band, Boy scouts of America where he attained the rank of Life Scout. He was always interested in cars, and was quite an avid coin collector.

John was preceded in death by his mother and father, Arthur Jackson Burkett and Pamela Paul Burkett.

He is survived by his brother Peter Burkett and wife, Jill; nephews Joshua Lee Burkett and Luke Jackson Burkett.

Services will be held at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 10AM.
