Shirley A. Baldwin, age 89 and resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on October 30, 2016 in The Journey Home, Bartlesville.

Shirley Ann Reynolds was born on September 19, 1927 in Caney, Kansas. She was the daughter of John Winfield Reynolds and Ora Lee (Condor) Reynolds. She grew up in Caney where she graduated high school. She married her first husband there and continued her home in Caney, working for S.W. Bell Telephone Co. In 1969, Shirley moved to Bartlesville, becoming an employee of Dr. Ray Harris, M.D. where she worked as a receptionist. She eventually went to work as a bookkeeper for Baldwin Drug.

In May of 1977, Shirley and Jack Baldwin were united in marriage. Shirley was a member of Bartlesville First Church. She was also a member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary, B.P.O.E. 1060 (Elks), Elder Care, Medical Assistants' Association and was also a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Although she was very active in the various associations, she found time to be very active in all her grandchildren's school activities. Shirley enjoyed many things in life, but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family.

Survivors include two children, Cathy Partain of Copan, Oklahoma, and Charles "Chuck" McCay and his wife, Bobbye, of Oologah, Oklahoma; Cathy's children, Rene Fesmire and her husband, Dan, of Scottsdale, Arizona, and their children, Mitchel and Maddie, Matthew Blom of Winsor, Colorado, and Elizabeth Blom of Bartlesville, and her children, Olivia and Gavin; Charles' children, Tonya McCay of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Patrick McCay and his wife, Molly, of Ft. Brag, North Carolina and their children, Nolan, Ethan, Carson and Sullivan; step-children, Rochelle Klein of Tulsa, Kelley Klein of Conway, Arkansas, and Amy Klein of San Diego, California; nephew, John Swearingen and his wife, Joann, of Lincoln, Nebraska and their son, Chris; niece, Sue Kiltzer and her husband, Lowell, of Loveland, Colorado, and their sons, Tim and Mike; and niece, Janice Cullins and her husband, Chris, of Spring, Texas, and their children, Josh and Travis; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Barbara Martin and Virginia Swearingen.

The family suggests donations in Shirley's name be made to Comforting Hands Hospice; or The Journey Home; or Goredforwomen.org (a division of the American Heart Association).
