Robert Keith "Bob" Bade

Mr. Robert Keith "Bob" Bade, 68, of Bartlesville, died Sunday, September 9, 2012 in Bartlesville.
Services for Mr. Bade will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the First Christian Church (6th & Osage) with Rev. Rob Scofield officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established as an education fund for Bob's daughter, Tori and those who wish may send their contributions to the Bob Bade Memorial Fund, c/o Arvest Bank, ATTN: Debbie Miller, P.O. Box 999, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74005.
Mr. Bade was born in Bozeman, Montana on November 25, 1943 the son of Helen Irene (Shook) and Louis Railsback Bade. He grew up and received his education in Billings, Montana where he graduated from Billings Senior High School. He then attended Montana State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and then attended Michigan State University where he received his Master degree in Chemistry. He was married to Jill Andrews on June 27, 1965 in Billings, Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Bade established their home in Bartlesville when he began his employment with Applied Automation which became what is now known as Siemens. He continued his career with Siemens as a Senior Analytical Chemist/Chromatographer until his retirement in 2009.
He was proud to be the holder of several patents and was highly regarded in the industry as a chromatographer and he has continued to work with Siemens on a contract basis since his retirement. Mr. Bade was a lifetime member of the American Chemical Society, an OSU Cowboys fan, enjoyed sports, gardening and yard work and played cards in a bridge group. In previous years he was active in local soccer as a coach and referee. He is a past president of the band boosters and an active school volunteer.
Mr. Bade is survived by his wife Jill, two sons, Robert Andrew "Rob" Bade and his wife Lori of Lookout Mountain, Georgia and LT Christopher Michael Bade and his wife, Cheryl with the U.S. Navy in Japan, one daughter, Tori Nichole Bade of Bartlesville, two sisters, Patricia "Pat" Wattles of Wheatland, Wyoming and Helen Louise "Weasie" Mace of Billings, Montana, and three grandchildren, Sutton Bade, Camdyn Bade and Presley Bade. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in infancy.
