Morgan Louise Gray, 32, died Tuesday morning in Bartlesville.
Native American Wake Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. John Wilson of the Independence Kansas Presbyterian Church, and Mr. Andrew Gray, Jr. of the Native American Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery with arrangements directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Morgan was born on October 28, 1982 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Lonnie Dale Vermillion and Bonita Rey Aleman. She was raised and received her education at Dewey, Oklahoma, graduating Dewey High School in 2000. She later attended Rogers State University at Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Morgan is survived by her husband Louis G. Gray, Jr. of the home, two children; a son Layne Edward Scott and a daughter Maddelynn Louise Scott both of the home, her mother Bonnie Jesse and husband Carl of Elk City, Kansas, by a sister Kimber Adkins of Wann, OK., five brothers Jonathan Jesse and wife Jael of Grandview , Missouri, Raymond Jesse and wife Amanda of Skiatook, OK, Cody Adkins of Kansas City, Missouri, Carl E.L. Jesse and Arthur E.L. Jesse, both of Independence, Kansas, and her grandparents Mary Ellen Jesse of Paola, Kansas, Linda Kay Barker of Bartlesville, OK., and Frank Aleman of Barstow, California, her father-in-law Louis Gray, Sr. of Bartlesville, and her mother-in-law Anita Y. Maker of Pawhuska, OK, ; and also by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews and many other friends of whom she was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Carl Leland Jesse, and by her husband grandmother-in-law Margaret Gray.
