Georgia Gavellas Taylor, born June 19, 1936 to Pete and Dortha Gavellas, went home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2016. She was greatly loved by her family and friends.

Georgia grew up in Dewey, OK, where her father, Pete, co-owned and operated Gavellas Bros. Grocery Store. Georgia retired from Jane Phillips Hospital, where she worked in Administration.

Georgia is survived by her brother Jimmy Gavellas, daughter Jo Lynn Wells, daughter Rhonda Tibbets and her husband, Kent, and her son Kevin Taylor and his wife, Kim.
"Gigi" had seven wonderful grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who loved her very much.

Georgia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ernest Taylor, parents and a great son-in-law, Greg Wells. She will be greatly missed.

Service arrangements have been made with Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Dewey

Cemetery with Roger Sheppard officiating. Friends who wish, may sign the online guestbook and leave condolences at www.stumpff.org
