Marcella Ann Patton, 73, passed from this life on July 2, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Marcella was born on March 31, 1947, at Blackriver Falls, Wisconsin. Marcella was the daughter of Henry and Melinda (Walker) Greengrass. Marcella was raised and attended school in Blackriver Falls. Following the completion of her education, Marcella remained in the area before moving to Stockton, California. While living in Stockton, Marcella met and later married William George Patton on August 26, 1988, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The couple remained in California until 1995. In 1995, they returned to the Blackriver area, where she worked for the Ho-Chunk Nation. In 2009, Marcella and William moved to Mannford. They were currently residing in Hominy, Oklahoma. Working puzzles, serving the Lord, and going door to door spreading the word and honor of Jehovah, the God of the Bible and the Creator of all things. Marcella was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Survivors will include her husband William of the home, children Michael Hernandez, Torek Bolbrier, Josie Martinez, Richie Lopez; siblings Leona McKee, Brenda Brown, Doug Greengrass, Roy Greengrass, Christina LaMere, Pinkah Greengrass as well as numerous grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Marcella was preceded in death by her son John Lopez, siblings Chuck, Howie, Betty, and Maynard Greengrass, as well as Henrietta.

Visitation will be 10 am till 7 pm Monday, July 6, 2020, at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home.

Burial of the cremated remains will follow in the Woodland Cemetery at a later date. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
