Betty Jean Sligar, formerly of Talala, OK, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6, 2020 in Pearland, TX and Heaven received a beautiful new Angel.

She was born November 8, 1928 in Sperry, OK to Philip I. Sligar and the former Odessa Florence Catlett. She loved embroidering.

Visitation will be noon to 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating.              

Betty was the second daughter and the second child of 7 children: Ada Paul, deceased, J.R. Sligar, deceased, Thelma Hicks of Alvin, TX, G.H. Sligar of Talala, OK, Zady Nutt, deceased and Bobby Joe Sligar of Talala. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.    

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
