Hunter Alan Penfield “Lil Buddy”, 14, of Collinsville, OK passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 in Collinsville.

He was born July 12, 2003 in Tulsa, OK to Chris and Kathie Penfield. He had lived all of his life in Collinsville and attended Collinsville Public Schools. He was #46 for the Cardinals Baseball team. He loved fishing; he never went anywhere that he did not have his fishing pole. He also loved to go hunting, riding four-wheelers and going to garage sales. Hunter was a very creative person that enjoyed drawing. Most of all he was a role model for his little brother Gage “Lil Ross”.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Meadowcreek United Methodist Church with Bro. Phil Talley and Rev. Mark Whitley officiating.

Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.

He is survived by his parents: Chris and Kathie Penfield of Collinsville. 1 brother: Gage Ross Penfield of Collinsville, grandparents: Sandra and Jerry Creek of Collinsville and Paul and Margaret Penfield of Collinsville, great-grandmothers: Mary Van Ness and Kathleen Kelly, 1 uncle: Shane and his wife, Kristi Barnes and 2 cousins: Hailey and Katie Barnes.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather: Kenneth Ross Barnes and great-grandparents: Johnny Ross and Helen Barnes and Leroy Kelly.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
