Leta Christine Millikin was born on December 26, 1947 to Jimmy L. and Velma M. (Brown) Cooper in Oklahoma City. She departed this life on September 9, 2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 14 days.

Lee grew up in Jones, Oklahoma. She later attended school in Tulsa and graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1966. After high school she attended Rogers State College and Tulsa Community College and obtained her associate’s degree. Lee worked as a police dispatcher for eighteen years in both Tulsa and Owasso. She was also a radio disc jockey for four years at Rogers State College and had also worked as a waitress for twenty years.
Lee enjoyed fishing, knitting, sewing embroidery and cross stitching. She also enjoyed teaching sign language. Above all she loved spending time with her family. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and her dog, Buddy. Lee was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her children, Bryan Garrett of Bullhead City, Arizona, Virginia B. Cannon and husband Paul of Collinsville and Thomas Garner III and girlfriend Renee of Tulsa; thirty three grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; her fiancé Lonnie Monk; her step children from marriage to A. D Millikin and several other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jimmy and Velma, her husband A. D. Millikin and her siblings.
