COLLINSVILLE DOLTON FUNERAL HOME
COLLINSVILLE, TULSA CO, OK
(permission granted)

Donna Louise (Clark) Hadley was born April 10, 1933 to Lawrence and Sarah Clark of Haviland, Kansas. Donna joined the family of her older brother Larry, older sister Jueene and years later her younger brother Ronald was born.

Throughout Donna’s childhood, she and her family lived in several towns throughout Kansas. Her parents worked as preachers at The Friends Church for many years. When Donna was 14, she and her family moved to Vera, Oklahoma where she later graduated from Collinsville High School in 1951.

Donna met the love of her life, Curtis at 14 and they later married on August 28, 1950. Curtis and Donna had an unconditional love and respect for each other. In 1952, their son Leon was born and in 1965, their daughter Donita, joined the family. When Leon married Debbie and Donita married Scott, their once small family began to grow into something greater.

Donna was an active member of the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene where she served for many years as a Sunday School teacher, teen sponsor, Church board member, and was on the Missionary society. In addition, Donna never failed to prioritize personally visiting members who might have missed Church that week.

Outside of Church, Donna worked as a bank teller for many years. Upon retirement, she and Curtis enjoyed traveling in their fifth wheel and spending time with family and friends.

Donna took great pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She could almost always tell you what activities they were involved in. Although in her later years, attendance at their events became challenging, Donna nearly always found a way to get there. She was always their biggest fan and never missed an opportunity to tell others how wonderful her grandkids were. She was their greatest encourager and strongest prayer warrior.

Donna is survived by her son, Leon Hadley and wife, Debbie of Collinsville, Oklahoma; daughter Donita Lowe and husband Scott, of Collinsville, Oklahoma; brother Ronald Clark of Canon City, Colorado; Eight grandchildren; Shawn Hadley, Shannon & Mike Flanagan, Shane & LaDawn Hadley, Tyler Lowe, Brandon Lowe and Carter Lowe as well as her eight great-grandchildren; Brianna, Rachel, Cole and Georgia Hadley; Trent and Ashley Flanagan; Makenzie and Ethan Hadley.

Donna is preceeded in death by her husband Curtis, her parents Lawrence and Sarah Clark, her brother Larry Clark, and her sister Jueene Zortman.

A true friend is an encourager and someone you can always count on. Donna was everyone’s biggest cheerleader and greatest friend. She will be missed dearly, and her memory will be cherished forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Donna Hadley to Clarehouse of Tulsa at clarehouse.org, or 7617 S Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK 74133.
