David Clark Hill, 54, was born October 23, 1948, and passed away at home on
October 17, 2003, at 1:55 p.m.
David was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and lived many years in Shafter. He was a
foreman for numerous years in Shafter. He was a foreman for numerous years
at Wong & Sill Potato Shed. David enjoyed fishing and taking his boat out to
the lakes and also spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed
dearly by all those who knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Kathy Hill; brothers, Donny Hill of
Truman, Arkansas, John Hill, Tommy Hill and Dewey Jessee all of Shafter;
sisters, Dora Pelayo, Bertha Jessee and Wanda Jessee all of Shafter; son, Robert
Hill of Wasco; daughter, Angie Hill, Gina Hill and Lisa Reno all of Bakersfield;
grandchildren, Korie, Brandon, Brandy, Breanna, Edward, Steven, Scotty,
Patricia, Tasha, Timmy, Joshua, Roni, Keith, Shaviantay, Greg, Devariae; also many
beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
