PAMPA - Bill R. Rice, 77, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with Elmer McLaughlin of Laketon officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Rice was an accounting supervisor for Transwestern Pipeline, retiring in 1986. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps, serving in World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Doris; a son, Clay Rice of Pampa; a daughter, Kymm Murray of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Otto Pete Rice of Richardson; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
