Barbara Jane Zachary, age 83, passed away October 9, 2016.

Born May 30, 1933 in Ashland, Kansas to Dennis B. and Lois I. Johnson and raised in Bartlesville, OK with her sister Patty and brother Ben. She graduated College High School in 1951 and attended University of Oklahoma, becoming a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She was introduced to Wendell Zachary by her sister, marrying him in1953. Their daughter, Leigh Ann, was born in 1955. After Wendell served a short term in the Air Force, the family settled in Bartlesville where her parents and her sister's family lived. The Zachary family relocated to Tulsa in 1964 with Cities Service Oil Co. Barbara was a devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed weekends at Grand Lake and summers in Colorado.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Wendell Lee Zachary; daughter, Leigh Z. Rorschach; son-in-law Thomas D. Rorschach; grandson, Daniel K. Rorschach; nephew, John McNulty; niece, Molly McNulty Chitwood and her husband, Tom Chitwood.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Ben R. Johnson and sister Patricia Anne McNulty.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at www.moorefuneral.com
