Mr. Smallwood, a former resident of Hammon, was a Tulsa contractor at the time of his death.

Victim of a car accident, Mr. Smallwood was killed instantly when his station wagon hit a ready-mix cement truck which skidded on the wet pavement, throwing it into the path of his car.

Attending the Monday services were Mrs. George Page of Leedey and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Cordum and the Cordum's daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Gamble of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Chester F. Smallwood, 1440 East Skyline Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma was killed December 10, 1965 when his car and a cement mixer truck collided head on.

Highway Patrolman George Stratton, said Chester F. Smallwood was dead on arrival at St. Frances Hospital of head and internal injuries.

The cement mixer truck, driven by James A. Reynolds, was not injured.

Stratton said the truck went out of control on the rain slick road, crossed the center line and knocked Smallwood's car 61 feet backward. The two vehicles were welded together by the impact, the Highway Patrolman said.
